A longstanding tradition carried over from Archbishop O'Hara High School, the Guardian Stride is a student-driven fundraiser designed to help offset the cost of tuition at St. Michael. Prior to completing a 30-minute walk around campus during Homecoming Week, students are asked to reach out to friends, family members, neighbors, etc. asking for their support. In return, students can earn various prizes and incentives.

Checks can be made payable to St. Michael the Archangel and mailed to SMA Guardian Stride, 2901 NW Lee's Summit Rd., Lee's Summit, MO 64064. Be sure to include the name of the student(s) you are supporting in the memo line.

Proceeds
To uphold the commitment to keeping Catholic education affordable, St. Michael relies on annual, unrestricted giving to help cover the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student - over $3,000 annually per student! Proceeds from the Stride go towards this gap to help offset the cost of tuition.
