How to Navigate the SMA Catholic App
Notifications
Make sure you set up push notifications! Tap on “Settings” then “Push Notifications” to enact notifications. This is very important so that you are up to date on all SMA information.
Feed
This is an easy place to find all social media posts for SMA!
Attendance & Staff
Running late or unable to attend school? Tap on “Absentee & Tardy” under the “Attendance and Staff” tab and quickly call SMA to let us know.
Need to contact a teacher? Tap on a teacher’s name and easily call or send an email.
Filter by a department or search for a teacher by tapping on the buttons at the top of the screen.
Lunch Menu
Easily see what is available for lunch by clicking on the date in the left bar (all lunch payments must go through FACTS).
School Calendar
Quickly scroll through school events. Tap on an event to share with others or add to your calendar.
Athletic Calendar
This calendar works in the same way as the school calendar with additional benefits.
Tap on “Choose Team/Sport” to filter the calendar.
Need directions to the event? Tap the event and choose “Open in Maps”.
Upcoming Events
This is the best place to find information on any non-athletic event happening at SMA. Tapping here will also send you to links where you can purchase tickets to fundraising events, prom, etc.
Campus Store
Purchase everything you need right on your own app! (Uniforms are purchased through an outside vendor and can be found on the SMA website).
Docs & Resources
You will find TONS of information here. Please take some time to review this area and get familiar with the info in each folder.
Academics – Course Catalog, A+ Program, Dual Credit/AP info, College Counseling info, etc. are found here
Admissions & Tuition – financial aid and scholarship info are found here
Athletics – coach contact info, rosters, physical info, booster club, athletic student handbook, etc. are found here
Clubs & Activities – a full list of clubs and activities is found here along with any info clubs might put out to the student body throughout the year. If you do not find time sensitive info here, check “Upcoming Events”
Guardian Glance – check here for the most recent editions throughout the school year
Student Information – Anything that pertains to students, except for academics and athletics, is located here (i.e. technology, CSP, student handbook, daily schedule, back to school info, etc)
Parent Information – parents, this is for you! Info includes parent club, school transportation, etc.
