After 25 years of coaching St. Michael the Archangel girls head basketball coach Mary Kroening is hanging up her sneakers and putting down the playbook. Congratulations to SMA senior Esmi and her four teammates from other local high schools who attend Herndon Career Center. They garnered a 1st place finish at the Missouri Culinary Competition! Esmi and her team walked away with a score of 94.75, beating the second place team by almost 20 points! Good luck to Esmi as she moves on to the National competition in Baltimore in April. St. Michael partners with several area Career and Technology Centers, including Herndon, Summit Technology Academy, and Fort Osage Career Center.
