Every October the Church celebrates Respect Life Month. As Catholics, we are called to cherish, defend, and protect those who are most vulnerable, from the beginning of life to its end, and at every point in between.
Each cross represents 20 lives aborted in the United States every day. Let's take time this month and say a prayer to end abortions.
Today the Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of the Archangels. St. Michael is the Archangel for protection and here at SMA we recite his prayer every morning before school for protection and guidance.
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Devine Power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
