Good luck at state, Sidney Stoehr!
Sidney, along with a peer Teacher Cadet, co-authored a children’s book titled My Rainbow. The book is about a child with color blindness. The book was one of two chosen by Summit Technology Academy to be entered into the State Contest over spring break.
We are very proud of Sidney and this fabulous accomplishment and recognition!
SERVING OTHERS - St. Michael students had the option to donate hair to Children with Hairloss. Amazingly, there were 22 SMA students, 2 St. John LaLande students and 3 moms donate their hair of 8 inches or more.
Liliana Haggerty shared her cancer story and the impact that the wig she received, from Children with Hairloss, had on her. Liliana said, “Girls who are donating, you are not just donating your hair to create a wig. You are creating a smile on a girl who is suffering from cancer. You are creating a gift for parents to give their daughters to find joy in the midst of the suffering.”
In addition to hair donations, St. Michael raised over $1,000 to donate, which is the cost of one wig. #WalkTogether
